Dr. Witiw is considered the expert in aviation meteorology and weather related aircraft accident investigations for small aircraft and major commercial airlines. Dr. Witiw has over 30 years’ experience in aviation meteorology including his career as a US Air Force officer. Dr. Witiw is currently an associate professor at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Worldwide. He also has extensive credentials with the advanced radar used on some of the commercial airlines.
Dr. Witiw has been involved in weather related aircraft accident investigations of commercial airline accidents and takes a detailed look at the FAA accident investigation reports and other air crash data. However, most of the data reviewed is historical weather data. Here is some of the data:
